Terms of Use
Villa Istria Mar

Please read carefully the following terms of use related to your stay at Villa Istria Mar. By using the property, you confirm that you are familiar with these terms and agree to comply with them during your stay.

1. Reservation and Payment

A reservation becomes valid only after receipt of a deposit payment amounting to 30% of the total accommodation price, payable via bank transfer.
The remaining amount (70%) must be paid no later than 60 days before arrival.
For reservations made within 60 days before arrival, full payment is required immediately to confirm the booking.
In the case of timely cancellation (60 or more days before arrival), the guest has the option to transfer the booking to another available date.
In all other cases of cancellation, as well as in case of no-show, the deposit is non-refundable and the full booking amount is charged.
Reservation cancellations must be submitted in writing only (via e-mail).
Any potential refund (if approved) will be made exclusively to the guest’s bank account within 5 business days, reduced by bank transaction fees.
Upon arrival, a cash deposit of €300.00 per booking is required.
The deposit is intended to cover any damages and will be refunded upon departure if no damage has been caused.
By paying the deposit, the guest accepts the reservation cancellation policy.
We recommend taking out travel insurance with cancellation coverage to protect yourself in case of unforeseen circumstances.

2. House Rules

Please prepare identification documents for all guests for registration with the tourist board.
Guests agree to use the property conscientiously and responsibly, respecting the house rules.
When leaving the house, guests are responsible for ensuring that all windows and doors are closed and locked to maintain security and prevent damage from rain and water.
Please close umbrellas when not in use, especially when leaving the house, at night, or before bad weather.
Kindly switch off air conditioners and all other electrical devices when leaving the house. It is not allowed to leave devices or air conditioning running when guests are absent.
It is mandatory to respect the maximum capacity of the property (as agreed in the reservation).
The villa must be kept clean and in good condition, including the house and the garden.
Any damages or losses, whether intentional or unintentional, caused by the guest will be charged.
Smoking is prohibited inside the property.
Noise is prohibited between 22:00 and 07:00.

3. Safety and Liability

Guests are responsible for their own safety and belongings.
The use of all facilities is entirely at the guest’s own risk. Children must be supervised by adults.
The property owner is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses resulting from the use of the property and its equipment.
It is recommended to take out appropriate travel insurance.

4. Privacy

The collection and processing of guests’ personal data are carried out in accordance with applicable regulations and our privacy policy.
Data is used solely for the purpose of booking and providing accommodation services.

5. Changes to the Terms

The owner reserves the right to amend these terms of use.
Each updated version will be published on our website.
We recommend checking the terms of use regularly to stay informed of any changes.
